a clinical-stage biotechnology company founded in 2016 by a group of professionals with extensive experience in new drug discovery and the pharmaceutical industry.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">Our goal is to generate innovative and high quality research programs based on the modulation of clinically validated therapeutic targets for the treatment of diseases of high medical need.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">We are currently developing 3 research programs in which we have selected three candidates that are in the clinical phase:<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><ul><li>MBF-118: Potent and selective covalent partial agonist of the nuclear PPAR\u03b3 receptor as a potential therapy for fibrosis in Crohn&#8217;s disease.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>MBF-015: Novel and selective histone deacetylase 1\/2 inhibitor as a potential synaptic loss modifying therapy in neurodegenerative diseases.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>MBF-362: Prostaglandin E2 receptor EP4 antagonist as a novel immunotherapy for cancer treatment.<\/li><\/ul><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"ewa-rteLine\">MEDIBIOFARMA is based in the European Business and Innovation Center (CEIN) in No\u00e1in, Navarra, where it shares a 200 m2 laboratory and performs the tasks of direction, management and medicinal chemistry.
