Navarra Health Cluster participates in the #RIES2023 event together with the #ClustersSaludEspa\u00f1a #ACESABIO<\/a> network, which was well represented. <\/p>\n\n

The #RIES, the international forum organised by the Cluster Sa\u00fade de Galicia<\/a>, CSG to address the challenges and opportunities of the health ecosystem, returns to Vigo for its eighth edition. LThe theme will focus on “Innovative health ecosystems<\/strong>“, which encompasses one of the main purposes of the CSG: to be a professional platform for public-private collaboration between the different agents in the sector that promotes innovative collaborative projects in Galicia.<\/p>\n\n

Among the topics analysed in this eighth edition of RIES’23 were the approach to population longevity, the advances in the field of biotechnology, OneHealth, and the new possibilities offered by the irruption of artificial intelligence in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n

“The main challenges we face are to develop comprehensive healthcare coverage that will improve the health of the population,” said the Regional Minister, while advocating “continuing to work to achieve greater life expectancy and, in particular, more healthy years of life”.<\/p>\n\n

At the opening dinner several awards were presented, including a very special award entitled “Impact on people” which went to our joint partner with CSG, the company IDEA INNOVATION<\/strong>, for its project “Residencias del Camino<\/a>” in the BIDEALDE social and health centre. This is a pioneering service in Spain by becoming the first senior hostel on the Camino de Santiago.<\/strong> Throughout these months has made available to pilgrims over 60 years 3 rooms with capacity for up to 6 people. This service has included in addition to the overnight stay in the centre, breakfast, lunch or dinner, nursing care and physiotherapy consultation. <\/p>\n\n

As usual in its organisation, the discussion agoras will be the focal point of the event, giving a preponderant space for debate and reflection on topics of great interest such as: Longevity, Biotech, Onehealth and Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong> The event will be attended by leading figures from the health sector so that companies, organisations and researchers in the sector can grow through collaboration, partnership, testing and speed to market.<\/p>\n\n

During the event, speakers and participants were interviewed, including Laura Corcuera, Managing Director of the NHC. aura had the opportunity to present what an innovative ecosystem is, the value of the NHC for the region and the upcoming challenges : (see video)<\/p>\n\n
