Committed to the need to break the <em>gap<\/em> between research and industry, Navarra Health Cluster attended <a href=\"https:\/\/transfiere.fycma.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Transfiere 2024<\/a>, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation in Malaga, dedicated to knowledge transfer and improving business competitiveness by creating business opportunities.<\/p>\n\n<p>This 13th edition brought together more than 500 companies and entities of the R&amp;D&amp;I ecosystem and we were there to accompany the different partner entities that attended: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cein.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CEIN<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/en\/genbioma-2\/\">Genbioma<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/en\/partners\/nair-center\/\">Nair Center<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unav.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Navarra<\/a>. It also allowed us to meet with several members of health clusters in Spain such as <a href=\"https:\/\/clustersivi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SIVI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bioga.org\/cluster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bioga<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/clustersaude.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSG<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bioib.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BIOIB<\/a>, as well as the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Clusters and AEIS, <a href=\"https:\/\/clusters.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clusters.es<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-medium\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"Transfiere 2024\" class=\"wp-image-5698\" srcset=\"https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120-1440x1080.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/navarrahealthcluster.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_7120.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>The forum brought together academic and research knowledge with the driving power of the business fabric and public administrations to promote collaboration in a global economy context.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.navarra.es\/es\/-\/nota-prensa\/startups-y-centros-tecnologicos-muestran-el-potencial-del-i-d-i-navarro-en-transfiere-el-foro-europeo-para-la-ciencia-tecnologia-e-innovacion-que-se-celebra-estos-dias-en-malaga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Navarra, which participated with its own stand<\/a>, highlighted its R&amp;D&amp;I potential in a presentation given by Mikel Irujo in which he detailed all the tools that startups and technology centers have to develop their R&amp;D&amp;I, including the call for grants for strategic R&amp;D projects, and the call for grants for R&amp;D projects.<\/p>\n\n<p>Another presentation of great interest: &#8220;Innovation and transfer in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological field&#8221; in which key agents of the biomedical innovation ecosystem reflected together on the opportunities and challenges that Spain has to promote technology transfer in the Spanish biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sector. A country objective included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/planderecuperacion.gob.es\/como-acceder-a-los-fondos\/pertes\/perte-para-la-salud-de-vanguardia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PERTE de Salud de Vanguardia<\/a> has as one of its cross-cutting lines that of ensuring collaboration and coordination between the scientific and business fabrics. One of the proposals worth highlighting is that of Beatriz Llamus\u00ed, CSO and co-founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arthexbiotech.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arthex Biotech<\/a>, who called for PERTE to be directed not only at personalised medicine and advanced therapies, but also to support other biotechnological and pharmaceutical developments that are also very valuable for cures and treatment of unmet needs.<\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, the presentation by Raquel Yotti, from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, provided an update on the PERTE for Vanguard Health, which aims to transform the health sector with actions in which science, innovation and digitalisation go hand in hand to face the new health challenges. The main announcements include the opening of a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isciii.es\/Paginas\/Inicio.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ISCIII<\/a> call for the creation of new clinical research units, and the strengthening of commercial or pharmaceutical industry-funded clinical trials.
