We actively work to network and form alliances with other actors that share the same strategic interests in order to turn the healthcare sector into an economic driving force.
Navarra Health Cluster is part of the Spanish Alliance of Healthcare and Biological Science Clusters (ACESABIO), created in 2023 to promote the importance of healthcare as an essential and strategic sector in the Spanish industry and promote the transformation of Spanish industry so that it becomes cutting‑edge, innovative and competitive in a global scale.
11 more regional associations are also part of ACESABIO: Arahealth (Aragon), Basque Health Cluster (Basque Country), Bioib (Balearic Islands), Bioga (Galicia), Bioval (Valencian Community), Catalonia Health (Catalonia), the Cluster Sociosanitario de Extremadura, Saude Cluster of Galicia (Galicia), WeMind Cluster (Catalonia), Navarra Health Cluster (Foral Community of Navarre), Cluster SIVI (Castile and Leon), Ticbiomed (Region of Murcia) and the Cluster Saude de Galicia (Galicia).
Navarra Health Cluster is part of a network of the Navarre Innovation System (SINAI) as a singular entity, a very important link to push innovation in the healthcare sector of Navarre. Active collaboration and joint‑project development allows us to take advantage of synergies and resources, thus cementing Navarre’s position as a benchmark in bioscience.
Our connection to SINAI allows us to organise actions to promote the capacities of SINAI actors and to encourage the link with the challenges of the companies and actors in the care sector, in a way that eases the process of creating joint Research and Development projects or technology‑transfers.
Navarra Health Cluster and the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Navarre have signed a framework agreement to promote joint actions related to the fight against cancer and to support patients with said illness.
The main goal of this agreement is to collaborate, sharing knowledge, tools and other kinds of resources, to find synergies that will lead to designing projects, solutions and services aligned with the goals and purpose of both entities.
Navarra Health Cluster is part of the IRIS Navarra Innovation Hub, a public and private ecosystem promoted by the Government of Navarre, which acts to accelerate the innovation and digital transformation of the different agents in Navarre.
After numerous collaborations in 2023, Navarra Health Cluster has become a collaborating partner in the Employment Service of Navarre (Nafar Lansare) in 2024.
Through the Navarra Lidera program, both entities propose training sessions to companies in the health sector in Navarre to boost the skills of their collaborators and improve the competitiveness of the sector.
Navarra Health Cluster is a member of MEDIC‑NEST, the European Meta‑Cluster in Precision Medicine, officially presented in Brussels on the 24th of January, 2024.
MEDIC‑NEST is an alliance of European clusters and business‑support organisations that believe in the cross‑border and intersectional collaboration between European committees to foster precision medicine.
Navarra Health Cluster is part of the VidAAs Executive Committee, the new social innovation public center in Navarre, which will open its doors at the end of 2024 and will lend its space to testing and experimenting on new products or services directed to bettering people’s autonomy and quality of life.
Created by the Government of Navarre and incubated by Nasertic, member of Navarra Health Cluster, VidAAs is a unique initiative which seeks a culture of collaborative innovation and the creation of a living labs network which specializes in new longevity and an autonomous life.
Navarra Health Cluster is part of the technical committee of the Integrated Personalised Medicine Strategy for Navarre.
This Strategy is designed with the fundamental purpose of positioning Navarre as an international benchmark in regards to Genomic Medicine applied to Personalized Medicine through research excellence, providing Navarre’s citizens with significant socio‑economic benefits, including an efficient and sustainable healthcare system, economic growth and generating quality employment opportunities.
