ADACEN, Navarra Brain Damage Association, is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by acquired brain injury and their families in Navarra. Founded in 1994, the association has become a key reference in the field of neurological rehabilitation, offering a wide range of specialized services and comprehensive support.
 
ADACEN’s focus is on providing personalized care through a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers. This care is aimed not only at physical and cognitive recovery but also at the emotional and social well-being of the patient and their family, recognizing the complexity of the impact that brain damage can have on all aspects of life.
 
Among the services offered by ADACEN are physical and cognitive rehabilitation, psychological support, social integration activities, and training and awareness programs aimed at the general community. Additionally, ADACEN promotes research and development of new methodologies and technologies that can contribute to improving treatments and the quality of life of affected individuals.

Featured proyects

Navarra’s Gold Medal, awarded in 2019. Symbol of recognition by the government and Navarre society towards ADACEN, highlighting its dedication and contribution to the community’s well-being.
Ictusnet European project. A collaborative project that brings together various organizations and entities to address the challenges associated with stroke, from prevention to rehabilitation and social reintegration.
Collaboration agreement signed with UPNA. A significant milestone for ADACEN, allowing it to strengthen its capacity for research, training, and service development, which in turn directly benefits individuals affected by brain damage and their families in Navarre.
“Science Ekaitza Award” is a recognition granted to ADACEN for its outstanding contributions to the field of brain injury rehabilitation.
