Mutua Navarra is a mutual insurance company that collaborates with the Social Security and was founded in 1905. Since then, it has been working to ensure the occupational health of the workforces of its member companies. Its purpose is to work for sustainable wellbeing by helping people to feel better. It provides health, welfare and sustainability to workers and companies and manages resources and social benefits in a responsible and efficient way, focused on excellent results.

Mutua Navarra forms part of the state public sector and, like the rest of the mutual insurance companies, does so under the aegis of the Ministry of Security, which has entrusted it with the management of several benefits: Occupational Accidents and Occupational Diseases, economic benefits for incapacity for work due to common contingency, risk of pregnancy and breastfeeding, care for seriously ill minors and cessation of activity of self-employed workers.

Mutua Navarra has six branches throughout Navarra (Pamplona, Estella, Tudela, San Adrián, Alsasua and Bera), has more than 5,000 associated companies and provides coverage to more than 120,000 people, which represents 40% of the people affiliated to Social Security in Navarre. It has more than 190 professionals, more than half of whom work in the health area.

Mutua Navarra’s objective is to recover its patients optimally in the shortest possible time thanks to work based on scientific evidence and medical protocols. It is an expert in occupational health (traumatology, rehabilitation, radiodiagnosis, etc.) and has the best technical and human resources in Navarre.

It also offers advice to member companies in order to help them reduce absenteeism and occupational accidents by implementing specific action plans generated through personalized and accurate analysis of the data presented by each organization. It also has a line of advice on health promotion at work that seeks to disseminate healthy lifestyle habits in the workplace.
