The Official College of Pharmacists of Navarra (COFNA) has represented all pharmacists working in the Community of Navarre for more than 125 years.

Founded in 1899, COFNA defend the pharmaceutical profession and all the professionals in the region of Navarre, as well as to guarantee that our members practice their profession to the highest standards. In this way, we ensure the rights of our members and the rights of the patients. Thus, we organize activities and services of interest to our members; guarantee professional ethics and dignity and ensure respect for the rights of individuals.

Currently, around 1,600 pharmacists are registered in the region of Navarre. All of them work to promote public health and prevent disease from different healthcare areas: Pharmacies, Hospital Pharmacy, Clinical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Industries, Academia, Distribution and Research.

The entire pharmaceutical profession responds to major health and social challenges that affect the population’s health, such as drug supply problems, a shortage of health professionals, the aging population, unwanted loneliness, depopulation, growing mental health problems or public health risks and new epidemics.

Pharmacists constitute a fundamental and key profession in strengthening the health system of Navarre, and the Official College of Pharmacists of Navarra is the entity responsible for ensuring the correct exercise of the profession and defending the rights of all professionals.
