These are some of the main axes of the University of Navarra’s educational project aimed at the integral formation of students, both academically, culturally and personally, as well as at the development of society.

The University of Navarra fosters an international environment by attracting students from other countries,
which currently makes up 29% (3920 students of 115 nationalities). The objective is for students to grow in a global context and to have an experience that allows them to work in any country.

Featured projects

The University of Oxford and the University of Navarra have signed an agreement to research and apply new techniques in immunotherapy to cancer patients. This is the only active agreement in this field that a Spanish university has signed with the University of Oxford (NDM Department). (leer mas)

Professor Miguel Ángel Martínez-González, Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the University of Navarra and Associate Professor of Nutrition at Harvard University, has received the Gregorio Marañón National Research Award in the field of Medicine from the King and Queen of Spain in Alicante. The University of Navarra has obtained the backing of the European Commission to lead a consortium of 23 Spanish and Portuguese institutions that will create an observatory to research digital media and monitor disinformation threats, called IBERIFIER. It is one of eight regional hubs that will form part of the European Commission’s European Digital Media Observatory. (leer mas)

The research group ATLANTES Global Observatory of Palliative Care of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra has been designated a collaborating centre of the World Health Organization (WHO) from 2022 to monitor the development of palliative care. (leer mas)
