On 9 June, the Navarra Health Cluster organised an important working session at the Palacio Condestable, which brought together leading organisations in Navarra to analyse the new European pharmaceutical strategy. During the session, which took place from 9 to 11 am, the four main pillars of the strategy were examined in detail and their potential impact on the region was assessed.
The working meeting was attended by 16 people from 10 NHC partners and public entities: NAFARCO, DYSAIT, QUBEPHARMA, ARDENA, NAVARRABIOMED, TELUM THERAPEUTICS, HEMOTIC, CINFA, NNBI, Hospital Universitario de Navarra. The sesión was chaired by Laura Corcuera, managing director of Navarra Health Cluster with the support of Zabala Innovation.
The main objective was to analyse and understand the new European pharmaceutical strategy. During the working session, detailed presentations were given on the four pillars of the strategy: access to affordable and available medicines, promotion of research and development, sustainability of the pharmaceutical sector and global health leadership. Each pillar was analysed in depth, highlighting its main objectives and the potential challenges and opportunities that could arise for Navarra.
Key aspects such as collaboration between Navarra’s entities, the adaptation of research and development infrastructure, as well as the importance of promoting investment in pharmaceutical innovation were discussed.
The Navarra Health Cluster, as organiser of the event, committed to continue working closely with all stakeholders to foster the effective implementation of the strategy and maximise its benefits for Navarra. The importance of collaboration between the public and private sector was highlighted, as well as the need to establish strategic alliances at national and international level.
The working session organised by the Navarra Health Cluster was a crucial step in analysing and understanding the new European pharmaceutical strategy and its impact on the region. This meeting strengthened Navarra’s commitment to promoting innovation in the field of health and laid the foundations for future collaborations and joint actions for the benefit of the community.
